GASTRONOMY

Copenhagen’s master chefs can’t wait to serve you delicious and seasonal dishes from the Nordic cuisine. Please ask our staff about their personal favourites – or find some inspiration here if you want to make sure to start your trip with some amazing dining experiences.

Toldboden (1200 m)

Nordre Toldbod 18-24, Copenhagen // www.toldboden.comToldboden

From one of the best addresses overlooking Copenhagen harbour, you can enjoy the restaurant's “Harbor Grill" with scrumptious grilled seafood. Book the late-night table if you’re in a festive mood and see what the night brings. Toldboden’s brunch is also highly recommended.

Sticks'n'sushi (1000 m)

Øster Farimagsgade 16, Copenhagen // www.sushi.dkSticks'n'sushi

Sticks'n'sushi opened its first restaurant in Copenhagen in 1994, and has since become Copenhagen's favourite sushi spot. You can choose to dine in the restaurant or, if the weather permits, grab a blanket and a take-away and take a breather to unwind in the nearby park, HC Ørstedsparken.

The Market Stalls (Torvehallerne) (1600 m)

Frederiksborggade 21, Copenhagen K // www.torvehallerne.dkTorvehallerne

If you’re a real foodie you can easily spend days nibbling through the many different market stalls inside Torvehallerne by Israel Plads and Nørreport Station. Delis and delicious little food stores lie side-by-side serving you the tasteful informal lunch or dinner. There is also plenty of indoor seating, so come by at any time of year.

Café Pixie (1800 m)

Løgstørgade 2, Copenhagen // www.cafepixie.dkCafé Pixie

At Café Pixie they promise you “kærlighed og hygge” which is our Danish way of saying that it will be a day of “love and cosiness” The locals hang out at the cute little Bopa Square where they either play a game of bull, or wind down to brunch, lunch, or dine at reasonable prices.
